On Tuesday, March 5, 2024, the Entrepreneurial nest at the University of Donja Gorica and the Faculty of food technology, food safety and ecology (FPTBHE) had the privilege of hosting prof. Oliver Donard, member of France Academy of Sciences and director of a research institute from France. Dr. Donard visited UDG as part of the TRACEWINDU project dedicated to the wine industry.

His multi-decade experience in determining the authenticity and protection of products, including cooperation with renowned brands such as Champagne and Evian, enabled an extremely interesting and educational lecture.

Under the theme “Wine traceability with advanced inorganic and isotopic signatures”, Dr. Donard presented the students of FPTBHE with the latest technologies and methods for the identification and protection of wine. We hope that Oliver Donard’s lecture was an #inspiration for students at FPTBHE to continue researching, innovating and contributing to the development of the wine industry.

Prof. Donard will give lecture to Food technology students and industry representatives in the Enterpreneurial Nest (UDG)
